Target Average Calculator
Enter your average so far, how many courses it covers, how many are left and the average you are aiming for. You get the average you need across the courses still to come.
How to use it
- Enter your current average and the number of courses it is based on.
- Enter how many courses you still have to finish.
- Enter your target average, such as the typical average for the program you want.
How it is worked out
Average needed = (target x total courses - current average x courses done) / courses remaining. Every course is counted equally.
Example: 84% across 4 courses with 2 to go and a target of 88% means you need (88 x 6 - 84 x 4) / 2 = 96% across the last two.
